Theft coverage
Excess: CHF 0
You are covered in the following cases:
- Theft by break-in: The theft involves forcing or destroying the lock provided by Torks, provided the bike is attached to fixed street furniture (e.g. a post or bike rack) and secured through the frame. A police report is required.
- Aggravated theft: This includes theft with aggravating circumstances, such as the use of violence, threats, break-in with clear intent, or repeat offences. A police report is required.
You are not covered in the following cases:
- Simple theft: Theft without violence or break-in, for example if the bike is left unattended, unlocked, in a public place.
Damage coverage
Excess: CHF 0
You are covered in the following cases:
- Damage caused by an accident or a fall.
- Damage resulting from improper handling or misuse.
- Battery damage.
- Acts of vandalism or attempted theft.
You are not covered in the following cases:
- Damage caused by lack of maintenance or negligent use.
Mobility guarantee
In case of theft or damage rendering the bike unusable, if a repair cannot be completed within 72 hours, Torks will provide you with a replacement bike within 72 hours.
