An electric-assist bike (e-bike) helps you pedal. It provides part of the power needed to move forward. But it doesn't replace your effort — if you don't pedal, you don't go anywhere.

There are 25 km/h and 45 km/h e-bikes. The Torks bike is a 25 km/h e-bike. It assists you up to 25 km/h, in accordance with current legislation. If you want to go faster, you can do so downhill or with the strength of your legs.

The motor is an Ananda — quiet, powerful, and perfectly suited to Swiss roads, even on climbs.

The average range of a Torks bike is approximately 60 km, though this can vary depending on the assist level, terrain, and weight carried. For typical urban use, one to two charges per week is more than enough.
