Adjust the saddle height

Quick-release lever, the heel-on-pedal check, and the safety mark.
Adjust the saddle height

Most Torks bikes have a quick-release lever at the base of the seat post.

  1. Open the lever by pulling it outwards.
  2. Sit on the saddle and put your heel on the pedal at its lowest point. Your leg should be fully straight. When you pedal normally with the ball of the foot, the knee stays slightly bent.
  3. Close the lever firmly. It should resist and leave a mark in your palm. Check that the post does not move.

Never raise the post past the safety mark engraved on it (MIN INSERT or MAX). If the lever is too tight or too loose, turn the adjustment bolt on the clamp.
