Adjust the handlebar height
The Allen bolt on the stem, and how height changes your riding position.
The Allen keys are in your accessory pouch. Height is set with the Allen bolt on the stem, the part that joins the handlebar to the steerer tube.
- Loosen the bolt a few turns. Do not remove it.
- Pull the handlebar up or push it down. Higher is more upright and comfortable. Lower is more sporty.
- Tighten the bolt firmly. Hold the bar and try to twist it: it should not move.
The brake levers should stay easy to reach after any change.
